What is the usual egg production for pekins? My girl lays 1-3 eggs daily. Just started laying 2.5 weeks ago and i was wondering what is common. Thanks!

Thats a good question, I dont have an answer since ours are only almost 6 months old. I wanted them to sit, counted 26 eggs then a couple days later counted 36. We only have 3 hens.

So my 4 month old pekin girl goes up to my muscovy drake.
She does this weird head bobbing and fast quacking.
Is she trying to court him or does it sound like aggression? She doesn't bite or peck. She has pecked the muscovy hen and established dominance.
Curious if this means she's going to start laying soon

Ah, yes, she is putting the moves on him, I think is the expression.

Courting. That's the duck way of saying, "Want to come to my place for dinner?"
