Pekin Duck Club!

It will take time for her to get use to her new home and new mate but she'll be fine. If you could have gotten 2 it would be better because they would have something familar , but 1 will be okay too.

Well, I just found a pic of a baby Muscovy that looks exactly like that one.

Hmm. I thought they looked like baby Mallards. I need to do more research on Muscovy so I at least know one when I see one.
And they maybe I can't get a real good look at the tip of bill that is why I am asking her/him. In Texas Muscovy's are considered Migratory it's the only state in the USA they are protected.

So is that how we know the difference at that age? I'm comparing some images of both and they look almost identical, though I see that the bill and feet/legs of the Mallard are black while they're a pinkish color on the Muscovy.

They are new to me, I got them from a farmer about 90 mins from my house. 2 blue Swedish and a crested buff. I'm excited to put them with my others,
I would introduce very slowly these are youngins and your ducks you have had for a while may look at these as interlopers and they are young and could be injured. Always best to do intros slowly over several days to weeks to make sure transition goes well.
