Such a sweet picture. I never would have noticed anything wrong with her outfit. She is cute. And she loves JoJo and he loves her. I can tell.

So sweet of her to do that for him. She has got to be excited for a new duckie for JoJo.Aww. My toddler daughter is singing to JoJo right now so he's happy bc she thinks he's sad that he ain't getting a friend today. Too cute!
Having them separate but where they can still see and talk to each other will be great, it may only take a few days but it may take up to a week not so much for JoJo since he is use to his home but for the new girl to get use to her surrounding and then to have Jo Jo as her new mate. You'll just have to observe them to see how they are acting towards each other to decide when is the best time to let them be together . I think you'll know.I will have them in the basement so they will be comfortable. They will be separated yet still able to see one another. I've never done this before, how long does it take, what do I do? What if theory hate each other? I'm clueless and I don't want to do anything wrong. Teach me!!! Lol plz
So sweet.
Always that possibility when you only have one duck with a drake that is why we always say the ratio should be at least 2 or more actually 3-4 would be ideal but at least 2. Drakes especially JoJo age are sexually driven which means they always are wanting to mate and can really beat up a female. to the point you'd have to keep them separated which would defeat your purpose in getting him a mate to begin with. Drakes can live together fine but there can be sexual interaction among them too it all has to do with hormones.Oh my, I've been posting on different sites on Facebook looking for a female, some lady sent me a message and said I should get a boy for him. She said he will mate a girl to the point of being raw and bloody. She's had to get rid of numerous drakes bc of this. What do u think? I wanted to punch her!

You'll just have to watch for things.OK, but it can work fine too, right? I guess im hoping they will be like jojo and charlie but they were a bonded pair, i know that. After i move, i plan on getting more. I want a flock!
