That might or might not change. It's JoJo's house, so he's the alpha right now. Once Lily is around for awhile, she might be the boss. That will be even moreso if she has babies. If she doesn't set him straight before that, just wait until she has little ones to look after. LOL.

Not sure with other domestic breeds but breeding for Muscovy's is drawing to a close for this year. Girls stop laying usually around end of Sept early Oct and mating stops too. Nice break for everyone including me.

Hello im new to the group! These are my two pekin ducks with their best friend! I believe one is a Drake and the other is a hen! Not quite sure!

My pekin ducks are 4 months old and have been free ranging with two roosters since they could start living outside. They follow each other around all day, the roosters keep gard while the ducks sleep. But they also fight and the roosters try to mate with my ducks. Im re-homing my two roosters in a few days and I'm wondering if my pekin ducks are gonna get lonely and not know what to do! Am i just overacting?
