Now I am thinking that one of my females may be a male. It still mounting one hand in particular and it looks like it's really doing it. Can I have a male that doesn't have a curled tail feather? Could this be true?

I have 2 Pekins, both hens. They do this all the time, I was told it was for dominance. Go figure! I truthfully thought I had a drake but oh no, they are both hens (both laying eggs!).Good morning! I've got a question about my ducks. I have four Swedish females and one pekin Drake. They're about 7 months old they haven't started mating. Yesterday I noticed one of the larger female Swedish was holding another female underwater and mounting her on the back then she was chasing everybody around. The drake is totally oblivious. Is this her trying to encourage him to mate?
What does he/she sound like? A hen has a very loud voice where as a drake is quiet, kinda like a hiss.Maybe the duck in question is waiting for its tail feather it's about seven and a half months old now. I am getting anxious now! I can't wait to find out the outcome
Honestly, I need to go sit on my bench by my pond and listen better. I am hard of hearing so it is difficult. Maybe its just wishfull thinking. The duck in question is doing it regularly to a smaller duck and it's getting quite rough
