Pekin Duck Club!

I worry, like I said the hubby is worse. My biggest problem is she wants to go in their pool, I have their inside one downstairs and I now have 5 baby pools outside. Three for the ducks and 2 for ry ry. My landlords going to think I'm crazy with all those pools and one kid. Thankfully, he doesn't know u have ducks yet and I'd rather keep it that way as long as I can! But I change their water everyday, hers is sometimes dirtier than theirs...lol.but there us no way I would evervlet them in the same pool.
Is that your cutie daughter on your avatar? She is adorable.

Haha, hiding your ducks from your landlord. Cool.

I know it can be scary. But seriously, if you just be careful about handwashing everything should be fine. My kids have all been around them most of their lives.

That's awesome you got so attached. And I think it's neat how much Ryleigh loves them too.

I have a pekin duck that is about 7 weeks old. I'm not sure if it's male or female. Not really sure how to tell since both male and female both seem to be completely white.

Ours are just over 3 months old and the only way we can tell them apart (besides the blue kote marks I gave them) is one is obviously larger than the other 2 and I think sounds more like a frog when he quacks, still no drake feather. The other 2 are much smaller and very loud quackers, so I suspect females. I want to get "ankle bracelets" but cant find duck ones in store locally. I am a first time duck mom so still learning :)

Question my pekins are about nine weeks old and lately my backyard looks like a pillow fight has been had with feathers all over the place. Just wondering is it normal for them to be doing this around this age, or should I be concerned, nothing else seems to be indicating a problem.
