I just got back from Walmart and TSC. They now have enough fresh food to last... Until it spoils I guess. I bought a lot.

  Broody raised ducks can be the same way but letting mama raise is always best.  I can only hold one of my ducks out of 8 and he was rejected by his mama so dh and I became his parents.  He's 5.5 yrs old and still doesn't mind the hug and snuggle.

As much as I worry, "Are they happy?" The reality is that if they weren't happy, I wouldn't be getting eggs. So, I can confidently say that the ducks are happy and doing well. The day to set eggs is the fourth. I have all the supplies ready for new ducklings on January 1, 2016. You guys will be kept UTD... Assuming you want me to keep you posted. If pictures of ducklings hatching, and running around is not something you want to see, I will understand. I promise I won't bother you with a bunch of ducklings in a muffin tin (okay, I am seriously looking forward to putting them in the muffin cups. I made corn muffins the other day, and the idea came to me). Their first swim, who quacks first, is it a boy or girl (I know how to sex at birth, but I will decline!

I think the sky is really the ground, and we all walk on our heads. I think that dogs are smarter than us, and their breath smells like bubble gum. I think... LOL!

PLEASE. I want tons of pictures. In muffin tins, cups, on towels, on a chair. I don't care. As long as I get my high dosage of duck and 'lings I am Squeeeeeee happy.

Baby pictures!!!!! Of course!!!! You know I've turned into a bit of Julie bird and am now living through you. Lol . it is what happens when u can't own ducks yet you luv them sooo much. I get it now, Julie!
