Will our ducks eat celery? I have an abundance of it and just wondered. Haven't tried it yet.

If the pieces are too large I would worry about choking. So I would chop up the stems nice and fine.

Mine like to slurp up their food in water so I'll sometimes purée veggies and let them slurp it up like a smoothie.

I give mine celery but put in chopper or food processor first so it isn't stringy...Me and my ducks love the ninja...lol

I have two 5 week old pekins. One of them seems to be walk on what I think are the elbows. I have tried brewer yeast for over two weeks and have not seen any change. He can not stand or walk around he tries to use his wings to help him get around.

How much brewer's yeast are you giving? Sometimes it does take time to build the niacin levels. What kind of feed are they on?

@tatemclark how does your Pekin do in water? can it use it's legs to move around. Try it so we can know okay just make sure to stay right there in case it needs you.

Not sure but they maybe too tough. Are you offering chick grit? very important it is given anytime you offer anything other than their starter. Not on their feed though either sprinkled on bottom of brooder or in a small bowl close to feed.

I NEED ADVICE ALL YOU MOTHER DUCKERS!

I live in MT, sometimes we get -20 in the dead of winter. I am getting baby ducks & geese in June. Trying to perfect their giant predator proof run that they will stay in when I am at work or not home (free range when I am home) I want to know if I can put wild sagebrush in their pen? Is it toxic? Will they destroy it completely? Also, I would like to add wild grass that grows in our fields. Does anyone have any helpful info on sagebrush & ducks, geese? I think it would be perfect- cold hardy, thick wood branches, little maintenance, ect. Of anyone can help, I would be very much appreciative. I cannot find any info on Google that relates with ducks & sagebrush!
