Pekin duck egg day 29 HELP!!! Pleaseeeeeee!!!

If you have room why not huh?  17 ducks wow. Bantams are my fav chickens I have some LF too but love the bantams. Are the duck and chickens eggs from your own flock?

both my duck and chicken eggs are from my own flock my chicks that ive been hatching are just barnyard mixes we only have 1 big rooster he was given to my mother in law a long time ago and i am guessing he is a rir im not real sure but him and the black sex link hens i have make pretty babies lol we have a set of easter egger bantams i guess that is what you would call them and then we have the cochin bantams 4 hens and 1 roo but he isnt a cochin ive been looking to get the same kind of roo for them but just havent yet and yes 17 duck eggs im going to loose my mind lol

Get yourself a thermometer/hygrometer combo from the pet store in the reptile section. They are fairly cheap and seem to be the most accurate out of the box. Then google tests to perform for accuracy. Incubators are notoriously wrong.

I had another peking duck hatch overnight they are hatching early they werent due to go on lockdown until today so apparently i am doing something way wrong or they are just quick developers my incubator i set in reads 99.8 at the bottom of the eggs with the 2 thermometers i have in it so i dont thinks its to high?!? But im going to buy 2 of the thermometers you said just to be sure and my little black duckie is still chillin in her eggs i can see her beak! Shes been that way since about noon yesterday so hopefully she will make a little more progress today

I have a precious Cochin Bantam Named Miss Kitty she doesn't have a mate either so I guess she'll take up with one of the Old English game bantams wonder what that combination would look like lol Most crosses make beautiful babies.

im sure they would be beautiful and i agree about the crosses and thank you im excited about the babies but im tired lol between all the work with the animals and 4 kids im worn out but its worth it

Oh my gosh and 4 kids. Well I remember those days vividly but happy they are behind me now and I only have my animals to care for besides my dh.

Are your kids enjoying the babies too? what other animals do you have?

This is miss pretty this morning im not gonna lie im worried that shes not going to make it she just opens her beak like she is yawning she doesnt make any sound other then a faint pep every once in a while so we shall see..
And i had to put her in the basket because the other duck kept rolling her around an picking at her shell as you can see lol

oh yes they are loving the babies we have a mean turkey lol and 7 yes 7 dogs and a total of 21 chickens and 4 ducks but alot of the baby chickens i am going to give to family once they are big enough not so sure about my ducklings i want to be greedy and keep them all haha

Just wanted to update yall my black duckling died sometime in the last 20 mins i dont think im meant to be trying to hatch ducka i have great success outta chicks but my luck with these ducka is horrible
