one of 2 of our pekins came down with a non desire to walk legs are free of slipped tendons, no issue with bumblefoot, plenty of b vitamins and niacin.

The 3 khakis are picking her back and butt feathers , she herself is pulling her feathers.

I isolated her for a week used vetmycin, b12 supplements , and swim time. Will sit still all day floats in water for hours and swims around.

Uses her wings to push herself around.

I am stumped now been 2 weeks no improvement to legs but healthy otherwise legs don't feel hot tendons right no issues moving legs.

Is it time to cull and eat?

If it was niacin, you'd have seen improvement in a couple of days.

Have you checked her very thouroughly for internal and external parasites? My first thought was her heart (as a meat breed, Pekins are sometimes prone to bad hearts) but the self-plucking indicates pain or irritation and you already said you examined her for injury.

Whats wierd is she was fine then not. Would you eat it ?

Kat loves this one but its like she can't support her weight.

They just turned 15 or 16 weeks today

With prey animals like ducks, they will hide a weakness or illness until they physically can't anymore.

Since there's been no improvement, unless you think of something else to try, I would cull. I wouldn't eat, because there's a 30 day withholding on the VetRX (last o checked)

And since that's true, if you wanted to try treating with ivermectin, you might as well. It's a long shot, but there's a protozoan that can cause some of those symptoms, but the name is not coming to me at the moment (throbbing migraine). Someone else might have a better idea.

Specify the brands of the B vitamins, and the dose you were giving it to her at, and how you were administering it?

That may apply to young ducklings, but birds around this age may take weeks before improvement is seen.
