pekin duck week by week

Under 1 week, 1st day home about 4 days old

1 week look at those cute little tail featheretts

2 weeks wings starting to bald a bit more feathers coming in loves bath time[VIDEO][/VIDEO]

3 weeks feather are starting to form especially on the tail

A couple days before 4 weeks

4 weeks old today they grow so fast even just day to day hour to hour it's very difficult figuring the age but I think I'm pretty accurate I'll keep updating week by week

5 weeks old now, you can really see those wing feathers coming in! Her wing span has grown so much in only 5 weeks she's our big girl and she loves to be in her water

We are now on week 6 a lot of marceline's feathers are coming in especially on her wings tail and chest. You can see she still has a lot of fluff though and her down feathers are now everywhere I find them on my clothes and even in the mouths and noses of the ducks! She is mostly white now with a light yellow.tint that is slightly darker on parts of her head and neck

Week 7 my my she's getting big marceline almost has all her feathers! Her chest and wing feathers are lovely she is still the softest duck ever

Oh I love all of the photo's . She has grown into a beautiful duck!! They grow so fast.

Adorable, what a great timeline to show others how massive Pekin become! i have never had ducks grow so fast and yes they are beyond soft but are forever shedding feathers everywhere lol

@Going quackers I know my indian runner is growing but definitely not as rapid as my pekin has. I haven't seen the feathers everywhere yet but I completely believe you, marceline has been shedding the down feathers like crazy!
