Pekin duck with foot issue

I don’t see the scab like this is bumblefoot. Anyone know what this is?

Looks like bumble foot to me. Soak the foot in some Epsom salt and warm water then post again after it’s good and clean. But looks like bumble

I am picking up supplies for her in town but will soak it first thing in the morning.

It looks pretty swollen let us see it after you get it clean up good. Is she limping? How long has it been like this ? Hopefully Epsom salt soaks will help but usually the only way to rid of bumble foot is to get the infection out ( the plug). Don’t get in a hurry to cut though.

I have her seperated with a friend. She wasn’t limping but was holding her foot up. She walked normal. Not sure how long its been like this. I just found it today. I got Prid. I’m not really interested in surgery just yet but will do it if it becomes necessary.

So soak then use the Prid. I’ll be interested to know if the Prid will draw the bumble to the surface. I have had good success using Epsom salt soaks and clear iodine giving it long enough to be able to gently peel the scab off to get out the bumble. Hopefully the ES an Prid will do the trick giving it time I use tweezers to pull out the plug. Keep us updated on her.

How long does it normally take with a soak? The scabs are not black. They are still yellowish. I will have better pics tomorrow

The longer you can keep the foot in the water the better. I would leave it in at least 15 minutes, but would aim for 30, so long as the bird is not stressing and the water stays warm. It takes time to soften.
