This is my first time owning ducks, so I don't know what normal duck breathing looks like. Since purchasing them a week ago, they seem to be breathing heavily, especially the one in the video. Is it normal for ducklings to breathe like this?

They are all eating and pooping normally, and growing fast. I keep them very clean and the room well-ventilated. They’re eating duck grower with nutritional yeast.

Thank you in advance for your help,
Elyse

I don’t see a video
How old are they and are you providing a heat source ?
If so what temp are you at
Often heavy breathing is to hot
Thank you Canadian Wild! I put the video on Youtube, the attachment wasn't working. They are two weeks and three weeks old, the one in the centre of the video is about three weeks old. I did have them on a 28C heat mat when I brought them home but they were panting at that heat. I took the heat mat away and checked the temperature under their bedding after a while (I kept a digital thermometer under there) and they were maintaining a temperature of 27C on their own, so right now they are without extra heating.

By 3 weeks my ducks stopped using the heat all together as well
I’ll check for the video again now
