Hi all,

Our 5 month old pekin duck has some sort of wing issue going on. I have searched all over and can't seem to find something similar to what he has. It started about 1.5 weeks ago and has gotten worse the past couple days. He's acting normal and playing/ swimming with the others but occasionally it drops down some. He flaps them normal but jist concerned what may be going on with him. Any insight would be great appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can you explain more of what is happening and what it looks like. Are there any other symptoms? Any other pictures?

I would guess that his primaries may be pin/blood feathers that are normally developing. They become quite heavy and the birds frequently need to adjust them

I can try and get a better picture tomorrow. Just was worried that it started to turn redish as it wasn't like that a couple weeks back. (New to having Pekins)

I didn't think of that (New to Pekin ducks) just was concerned it started to to redish recently. He's acting normal atleast.

Take a look - the reddish appearance may be caused by the blood filled growing feathers.
Any tips on how to help him out or is it something that might stop on its own. Tomorrow afternoon I'll get a picture of the wing open with the help of my wife as he's a runner haha.
