Peking ducks

We have a kiddie pool which we sunk into the ground so the rim is at ground level but our 2 pekins will not go in. What can we do?

Maybe try to put them in

They have actually fallen in trying to reach lettuce that I tossed in there but get right back out again

Is the water warm or maybe try to take the pool out and put a ramp the pool and if you have garden worms and feed them a few and then put the worms in the pool that might help my ducks love worms so Much that when ever they see me they waddle up and just look up at me
