Pellet Gun for predators??

I feel your pain, Redhen, when it comes to the predators...we have coyotes that are showing up in broad daylight now instead of after dark. My guard dog is doing a good job at keeping them run off...but I'm thinking that I will pretty soon have to bust loose the ole shotgun. I fully understand why you wouldn't want high powered guns in your home...you are a very sensible chick! Good luck winning the battle with the preds!

Now that's what I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugg'en....I your situation I would continue using traps....and more traps.....the foster children should be first and a gun of any kind should not be in the home....remember even the BB gun can take your eye out line in a Christmas movie.......

Raw liver, they love the blood.

A pellet gun strong enought to kill,about the same as a 22 gun, just not the range.

If you cant trust have a 22 ,would say same for a high power pellet gun.

If you do get one in your trap, should be able to take to the DNR of your state they may kill it for you.

i want to catch it with a live trap if possiable...soo..liver huh?!...going to get it tomorrow asap!... another question, please, do i wrap a plastic garbage bag around the trap (black color)...cause we were doing that to make it think its a den or something....should i remove the bag from the trap?

yes I would remove the bag, try to set the trap where he goes in your pen.

If you can tie the liver, to make sure he trips the trap.
