One consolation is that she cannot pass her Narragansett gene to her daughters.

This is very true. But the boys are the beautiful ones lol. I really dont want split narri. That thought makes my head hurt. A few years of selective breeding will remedy that. So many varieties and possibilities!

Update on "perfect pencil" Peter. Need to get all of my pencilled birds to this quality or better. The degrees of pencilling quality is so vast.... his fan is still a little "spotty"
