If she is having trouble drinking, you can also put her in a shallow pool of water. It may allow her to drink on her own. Hydration is really the key thing. She can go a while without eating.

Okay I am filling up the tub for her now. She definitely did eat yesterday morning so she should be fine on food until I get her to the vet tomorrow morning. I think in that case I will just give the antibiotics along with pedialyte later

If she can't swim, you may need to keep down to like a couple inches of water. Something she can't drown in, but easily drink.

So I just went outside to check on the other ducks and Mt duck Puffin now seems to be showing some of the same symptoms. Not nearly to the same extent puffin is still eating and drinking, but she isn't flying and seems a little wonky while trying to walk definitely behaving off. I called the vet and they said I can bring both in tomorrow morning so that is what I will do. Now I'm pretty certain it is some sort of viral infection or toxin

I suppose it is possible, they are always in the run though so it would have to have come from a bird flying over

It can stick to your shoes/clothing if you wear them out in the world and then into your ducks' area.

I guess one of my shoes did get particularly muddy yesterday morning and I rinsed it off in the kiddie pool, however I have 2 pairs of slides that I use when going to duck coop and I don't use them for anything else so I am not sure how that could have been the cause.

It seems unlikely then. I also haven't covered my aviary, I just change shoes before going out there.

I'd keep the unwell ducks separate from the others just in case they haven't caught it - if it is contagious.
