Penicillin for bumblefoot?

I gave her a small amount of penicillin last night and this morning. She seems to be doing fine with it so far. No runny poo or anything. I just can't cut into the top pf her foot it bleeds to much and I can't see anything. Going to get nutri drench today at tractor supply.

Penicillin is probably not the preferred antibiotic for a staph infection of the foot, so you need to be sure she gets a large enough dosage and do it for at least five to seven days. I still don't know if it will do any good, though, any more than just treating it topically.
