AGREE !!! And the "POWER" extends FAR BEYOND the Legislature. For instance, Gary Johnson, former NM Governor and the FIRST Candidate to "declare" for the Presidential Slot on the Republican ticket...has been overlooked (nay...ignored) repeatedly.... because he is "not one of the "crowd"....(meaning? "Can't be bought?"........._)

It's disgusting and certainly NOT "Representative Government".

I think some of that may come down to charisma and personality. Dont agree with that but it is human nature to be drawn to certain characteristics. Im from right next door and Ive never heard of him running for President. A good example to me is Ron Paul. Lots of people absolutely LOVE Ron Paul and all of his Libertarian ideas. The reason why he wont ever garner enough financial support to be a legitimate candidate is because he has the personality of a toothbrush. I like some of what he says but NOT all of it for sure. I was reading yesterday how he wanted to count every bar of gold in the US Treasury to make sure it was there......wth? It would cost of $60 Million dollars to do so and that is not counting the loss of alot of the gold itself because he wanted to test each and every single bar for purity....

I'm sorry. I was just kidding about Geico. I don't know why they use a gecko with an Australian accent. Have you noticed that a lot of commercials have men with Australian or English accents? Advertisers must think Americans have an obsession with Europe or something. That's why we have so many things based on Europe. Right.

Opinions and beliefs are 2 different things. However we are all allowed to have either. When you express an opinion or a belief in public then that belief or opinion is fair game for criticism.

Didn't sound like Chickened was offended. I really think he is very capable of defending himself if he is offended.

YEP. Although I left Colorado (after 2 decades there) BEFORE this occurred. I know of which you speak.

Yet, it is MORE THAN THAT.

The "Powers" that control the "information distribution" are something which cannot be assaulted. The "PRESS" can say as they please and do as they please and "manipulate" as they please.

THIS is POWER....especially IF these "powers" are " in bed together".

What bothers me in this country is how freely people are willing to give up there rights that so many people have died for us to have them an keep them. They gave up there safety an died for you to have those rights an we throw those rights away to feel safe.

It's a conspiracy. The Europeans are taking over the country. It started with the Geico commercials. You know Warren Buffet owns Geico. Pretty soon we'll have all their laws over here. Yikes.
