Galgo - How old of chicks are you thinking? Just wondering as i might have some by then.

Oh MY !!!!! maybe I should just leave hubby at home,,,I am hoping to hatch the following breeds: Isbar, Cream legbar, Crele/Tolbunt polish, Basqu, Golden lakenvelder. and MAYBE Breda, and Welsummer.But since you can't count your chicks before they hatch, i don't know yet. But this is my plan.

I like the "hodgepodge" flock idea.I am just keeping a pullet of each kind so if i get a good hatch i will have a decent amount of extra chicks.
This is exactly what I did, and my flock is beautiful! Of course their babies will be mixed, so not much value there, but still beautiful yard candy.
Hubby has seen the food list, there's no way I could leave without him, he would follow..![]()
