Galgo - How old of chicks are you thinking? Just wondering as i might have some by then. :)
now this worries me,,,,i can resist chicks for the short time I walk thru a store, but spending all day with them may be a little tougher,,,,, Oh heck I will bring an empty cage just to be safe.....

I am gonna hope everyone post what they are bringing , if they are bringing live birds,

so I can plan ahead,,,,,,especiallyif blackbird decides to bring any of those buckeye culls.......

Ok maybe a couple of cages better come along for different ages...

just for a reference to those that have a little travel time, if galgo is in the area I think she is, there's a nearby campground that is nice....galgo will have o confirm that...

I am hoping to hatch the following breeds: Isbar, Cream legbar, Crele/Tolbunt polish, Basqu, Golden lakenvelder. and MAYBE Breda, and Welsummer. :) But since you can't count your chicks before they hatch, i don't know yet. But this is my plan.

No, you better bring him to keep you from filling your car up!

I like the "hodgepodge" flock idea. :) I am just keeping a pullet of each kind so if i get a good hatch i will have a decent amount of extra chicks.

This is exactly what I did, and my flock is beautiful! Of course their babies will be mixed, so not much value there, but still beautiful yard candy.
