Sally, If we do come out I'll send you a PM beforehand!!
Soooo awesome that he got you a bator for Christmas!!!! Congrats!
Can't wait to see those baby pictures!!!
It is supposed to be a male and female, but they are still less than a year old. From what I've read they need to be 3-4 years old before you can sex them visually. And as far as breeding... that doesn't occur until they are 7-8 years old. I wouldn't incubate them unless I knew someone who wanted them and who educated themselves first. This is how I incubate my ducks. Everybody wants them when they see the cute babies, I want to make sure it is not an impulse buy and people realize the care that is needed for these animals.
Did you live here in "PA" when you had your sulcata?
Kindda but you could say they are on steroids!! Hahaha they live for about 59 yrs and are about 100 lbs or so
Yep have only ever lived in PA! Thinking about getting my mom one again, it was actually really sad how we lost him! My mom would put him out in his play area everyday and would bring him in every night. Well one day the pen was moved but not properly secured at the bottom and my mom didnt realize this and put him out for his daily romp. Well she went to check on him and give him more food nd saw he lifed the one side of the pen n was missing!! Soo upset we spent hours in the woods surrounding our house and no such luck!, still feel so bad about this cause we all really loved Timmy!!
She's zipping! She's zipping and peeping!!!
Ok...so I sound like I'm 3...but I'm super excited!
So ready for this week to be O-V-E-R!
