I know, they are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here you go south central PA people ~ just posted Sunday morning. This is in York County.
I just had to throw out 41 eggs. They all died. This was the second round in my experiment. DO NOT use a liner in your incubator. They don't make it past day 9. I had the air holes all lined up and everything. Temps/humidity were good. I had a constant with another incubator, the only differences were they would heat up at different times, and the humidity would never be off by more then 3%. Same hens laid the eggs, same rooster................So its the liner.
What kind of incubator are you using?
One of the still air little giants. I bought the liner so that it would be "easier" to clean up. I am saving for a Brisnea 190 cabinet bator, maybe next year's hatching season. I have 3 Little Giants. I have successful hatches with the ones without the liner, I did fine last year too. So I will just be scrubbing a whole lot more
Thanks Mama! I was going to be all blue and splash Ameraucanas. Oh well, I have another bator full.
My sister lined her little giant with paper towels and had 3 die in the egg. Maybe it was the liner.
