oh no!! That is tragic!!! Glad you have more.
Let me know when you have babies
What a shame! I'm on a kick of hatching blue chickies too. Some of mine got their blue from an Andalusian roo, and lay pink eggs so they're Easter eggers. 3/4 Ameraucana, but I'm having fun. I just had another hatch of another dozen and a half yesterday.
Having fun is what counts. You can use the BA's to improve the lacing!!!
Can you all tell me what all you vaccinate for? We are in Centre County surrounded by woods and water. Thanks!!
I don't vaccinate for anything. I've never lost any birds to any diseases that have vaccines.
I don't vaccinate for anything either. I don't go to shows yet. As long as they are staying at my farm, they don't need it. IMO, if you buy new birds quarantine them. Ask if they had any vaccines. Sometimes when they shed from the vaccine it can infect other birds.
Anyone near York area want any chicks?
Kind, ages, quantity, cost?
Two are actually hatching right now!!! EARLY HATCH!
Wasn't expecting them until Saturday! You can almost see their bodies through the wholes made and they are peeping.
