Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Our chicks got here a day early, yay!!! Of course, somehow we ended up with 7 instead of 6...I did not see the extra going into the box, nice surprise when I got home.

These ones and many more need homes.....most of these have not been on previous pics, they are the new year's hatches that have only been put outside fulltime for about a week.

What breeds am I looking at?

If you are asking me...I have no idea on the young birds, they are from shipped eggs that were hatch on new year's, I had 90 some eggs set from lots of different people......so some could be pure something but I am guessing most are mixes.
They look to be interesting colors! Wow, 90 eggs!? how many babies are there??? Btw, update on my buckeyes is at the end of the previous page

Quote: Thanks for the update, i will be keeping an eye on how you are doing with them, i will be looking for breeding stock next year, not necesarily for show but would like to know they are of quality...
and the chicks, well I was having terrible hatches so I figured I would fill up 2 incubators and hopefully get a dozen to hatch (yea that's how bad the hatches were)..needless to say I ended up with 50 some chicks hatching..

Holy cow!! All mixed/unknown breeds? What's the cockerel/pullet ratio looking like? Any EEs/OEs?

(weakness for things that lay blue or green eggs)

Quote: there's quite a few that i would consider EE . but since i do not know the background on any of them I am just telling everyone they are mixes.
I have spotted a few that also carry the green legs.
I do not want to advertise one thing and they turn out different though....i had a few eggs hatch that looked like maran eggs also but since I can not be sure, I say they are mixed.
