Berks here!! Welcome!
Look at the pallet coops. A small pallet coop. One sheet of smart siding around $25. a sheet of plywood around the same for the floor. hinges a couple bucks and some time there you have a small coop for around.
Quote:Hello from York County, Pa.
I bought one of those cheapie's from ebay...the advantage: comes with pen. Pen size is 4'x'5 the box is 4'x2.75'. Five should fit...I hope my six will....Has a clean out drawer...The cost was around 250.00 with shipping.
The disadvangages: built like crap....needed to buy some hinges.Build a door(yes, chinese don't believe in having doors on their coops) Re-enforce with scape 2x4's etc. Figured it would last a year or two and give me time to build better after I have some experience raising chicks....Hope this helps....
It's read. lol
Lots on a regular basis. Gonna be running birds every month.
You'll find in the chicken world we are everywhere and anywhere and closer than you think lol
New in PA...Lawrence County near Portersville. We have a hodge podge of getting old pet chickens and ducks (and 2 goats) but will be living on a farm so will be adding more this spring.
Well welcome to PA ! There are enough enablers here to fix you up with a flock and a half lol
Come on now, there aren't too many enablers here ...
Arg! So tempting!!!
