I know! I broke down and bought some in pots, because I think it is going to be winter forever...

I thought it was wierd to go out and feed this morning after shoveling 4 inches of snow while listening to the birds sing.... It was nice having shoveling music though. still coming down pretty good. And they waited till the LAST MINUTE to give a 2 hr delay. The poor snior highschool kids are getting stuck on the road.

The darned ground has to thaw so I can get my blackberries, raspberries and trees!!! I've resorted to doing potted strawberries. Stinkin snow!

Well, maybe the apples will be good this year. Last year, with the early warmth, the trees blossomed, then the late freeze killed everything. We never saw a single apple. So maybe this year there will be twice as many, LOL.

Everything is closed around here (Bald Eagle, Bellefonte, State College, etc).

My personal rule is that when the 3 school districts that I have to drive through to get to work close (those above), then I call into work and stay home with my kids! Good thing the University can run without me.
