Hi all!! I've been gone for a couple days, cleaning, 13 yr. olds slumber party, and last nights random post contest. It just took me two hours to catch up on everything!

I won a chicken basket too stuffed with gardening goodies. I thought it was so ironic, you know, Gardeningmama? You know the saying "On Cloud Nine"? I haven't come down yet. It's been a yucky month, and I think The Good Lord knew I needed it.
Anyway, chickies will be hatching in 6 days. I'm so excited! I swear it never gets old!

How old is he? Im at a great hen/rooster ratio right now though (15:2). I don't know if I could get rid of my cranky white silkie. It's nice of u to offer though
