You are going to love bantam Cochins! What color did you get? I have 4 varieties now with the 5th in the incubator. I am truly addicted to these little birds!

I'm an hour west of Pittsburgh, just on the Ohio side of the river below Wheeling. Hope it's ok to pop in here. I frequently make runs to PA for birds & wanted to see what everyone has. I also have about 200 chicks 2-9 weeks old for sale if anyone is in need of chicks.

hahahahahahaha I know, I dropped by Chrissy's right after work, I had no hyacinths on hand! xD And the babies are all so frickin cute! I feel a lil bad for Bluff's eye, the other chicks occassionally peck at it and make her cry, I've had to rescue her a few times... *sigh* poor baby!

Good list but they did forget a few things you may want to check into....

 - Utilities
 - Life insurance policies, AFLAC type policies if you don't have them through your work place
 - Concealed carry permits, gun permit
 - Have your parents check for any legal documents they may have you listed on to avoid Pain in the ***** paperwork during times of stress
  ..... I am referring to if you are listed on Power of Attorney paperwork for financial or medical decisions
   ....  also if you are listed in wills or living trusts they may want to do an addendum about your name change.  I'm sure it wouldn't void anything, but who wants to dig out paperwork at a time like that?
- fishing and hunting licenses
-Post office maybe?  If you have a PO box especially, but may be good idea to let your rural carrier know your name is changed in case they have mislabeled packages and they don't recognize the name.

I actually asked when I got my CC, as I literally got it 3 weeks ago, and they said not to worry about the name change. I'll remind my mother to fix her will, we did ours along with out powers of attorney on Thursday...the lawyer was flummoxed that anyone would think to do those things before the wedding. And our postal carrier has been here for 25 years, so has DH...so name change won't faze her..though she may stop to congratulate us.

Well, I have no excuses. I didn't have special OJ or anything. I just bid on a bunch of goose eggs!

Absolutely! The map in my signature tells you where most of us are located...keeping track of who has what on the other hand....that changes by the minute!

Who wanted wool? Let me know soon becuase we need to get rid of this pile. I am only keeping 1 fleece. All the wool on this pile is avaialbel. Most is good usable wool, just needs sorted, skirted and cleaned. It will be heading to the trash if no one wants any. Just don't have the time this year to sort it all...

The new babies! They are doing great! They can actually find the udder now that all the wool is gone!

Oh wow. I don't think I can take any this year, but hopefully next year! Thanks for your generous offer!

The wool is all spoken for. it went quick! Next year we will have more and it will be nicer. I will let you guys know before we shear so you can let me know what you want. You can even come visit and pick out the sheep you want it from! we will have 20+ to shear next year! Does any one want any sheep by the way? thinking we have too many rams....
