No money for parts until I sell some eggs/birds. Plus I found a cabinet & am saving all my spare cash to put toward it. My friend is letting me make payments on it.

I also have 40 chicken eggs already in the fridge & we had 13 eggs for breakfast. I'm drowning in eggs!!!! I have to use the ones I already ruined for hatching by putting in the fridge, but YOU ALL can save the adorable duckie babies from being eaten!!!!

Maybe feed some back? Most of my hens are molting, so we haven't been overrun with eggs. I suppose it helps that when my niece and nephew are here, they tackle a dozen eggs for breakfast.

I just had a casualty...

Earlier I let the ducks to the pond.. they came back with in an hr which I already knew something was up.. They where not acting right... So I did a head count on them... I was missing Dopy my crested pekin.... We had gone searching for him.. after some time we found him. He had floated to the end of the pond upside down.... :'( I couldn't find anything such as being shot... I think he may have been drowned by one of the ducks (unlikely) or by the geese.. (wild geese that are going to be nesting) I didn't think anything like this would happen! Nothing happened any of the other years.... And I am just dumbfounded. My heart is broken...............

It might have been a snapping turtle.
