Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I'd like to know the answer to this one myself. Anyone know??? Heather, Blarney?

This is what I know. The people that are showing can take birds to sell, they might have a caged section there for them. They will probably go like hotcakes. Our 4-H leader said that down at the Del Marva Show, the "for sale" section was empty with in an hour. People couldn't even get there bird out of boxes before people where claiming them!!!!

Yay!!! Finally some babies!!!
Had a very productive poultry day today! Had a nice chat w/AuntKat and her adorable daughter & she took 3 dozen of my duck eggs! Woohoo! Went to visit another friend & dropped off the 16 chicks that I hatched/brooded for her. Woohoo!
AND...... I had 3 sebbies hatch overnight!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!

..And off to the York show tomorrow. Hope to see some of you there!

I haven't been to this show before, the other shows I've been to varied greatly in the sales arena. We are bringing 2 week old OEs and MF Cochin project chicks. I really want to bring some BC Marans chicks, I have some that are 1 week old, and some that are 6 weeks, but DS is just not ready to part with them.

Quote: You're Cochin are Banties right? I would love some, but nowhere to put 'em.

I hope you're still around in the afternoon, if I do make it there. No one will miss me, I'll be the one with 4 young kids, probably doing quite a bit of yelling, LOL!

That counts me out, because the earliest I'm getting there is 12:30. Darn It!!

Congrats GAL!!! YAYA!!!

I have a pair of toulouse & just hatched 2 babies from gablebabble's eggs. I have 4 more of hers in & 4 of mine but so far mine haven't been fertile. I may be looking for another gander soon if you would like to send 1 my way. The boy I got them from claimed they were a proven pair, but I think he lied. He had another gander there & betting he was the daddy. My different breeds are all getting their own pens very soon. Right now my 2 geese are penned with 7 pekins, but all of the ducks are getting new pens in the next couple weeks & the geese will keep the pen on the hill.

Are you going to the York show? I'll pack one for you. I am calling my processor on Monday and they will both be going ASAP if she's open for business (she shuts down for winter because her shop isn't heated). My first goose egg was fertile, so I know one of them is doing their job.

I am going to pick up my black bantam Cochin pair from Jamie Matts... and to see if I can't get any bantam Cochins or English Orps.

Man, I really wish I was going to the York show! But alas, I have to work a daytime shift. I was thinking maybe there would be some LF S.Faverolle chicks, since I'm running out of options. Guess my bets are on Uniontown.
