Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Went to the poultry show yesterday. I believe I seen a few BYCer's, but wasn't positive enough to go and ask. Kiomey and maybe Missy and the boy whose picture was on here a few weeks ago with the chicken on his shoulder. I can't remember whose son he was.

I'm glad I went. Some of the breeds I was thinking of getting from Agway are huge birds by looking at them yesterday. It was a nice show. The artwork with the chicken paintings were nice.

From what I read, it said 8pm and up to 7 hours. I would think north but I'm looking everywhere

How am I sposed to fill the water thingies with the Turner thing in the way? Just move it? Candle at 4 days, and then when? This feels like waaaay more responsibility than I was prepared for...

Grrr. I would have loved to go to the show instead of doing more and more and more tax returns! Glad you all had a blast.
Is this what is keeping you from adding some spice and laughs to the thread!

Well we went to TSC today to pick up a few supplies (yet another bag of feed for the meaties... geesh those buggers can eat!!!)

So I went in and found my way to the display for yard ornaments while on my way to look at chicks. I saw a cute planter on the shelf and called Radioman over, thinking he'd get a kick out of it and then keep me in check and remind me we were there for feed only.... so what does he do??? He walks over and promptly reaches over my head and says... 'did you see this one too???'
Well, he is 6'5", so he sees things I often miss... and instead of doing the good hubby thing and keeping me moving, he finds another one that he likes!!!

so instead of just grabbing a bag of feed we also end up with 2 new lawn ornaments we didn't need but thought would look so cute around the coop.

The first planter that I saw...

The one from the top shelf that the tall guy spotted...

So now I have 2 additions to find spots for... but at least we did manage to leave without any live birds!!!!

The 6 little d'anver eggs are talking to me this morning,,,,,took a quick peek, only see 1 pip and it is in the middle of the egg.
oh YAY update!!
Sorry to hear about your pekins :/ I think your mallards will be better though :D
How is the neighbor leaving you alone for the weekend?

I have LF Salmon Faverolle chicks. My friends daughter in law lives in PGH and can probably be persuaded to take chicks home to you on her next visit in a couple weeks. I'll confirm when she's coming here.

Ohhh, that would be amazing!

I'm also willing to drive a ways, if that makes things easier? I actually live in a suburb of a suburb, so it may be a bit out of her way.

Yikes!   200 can make things a bit hectic, to say the least!   I actually love messing with numbers, so doing taxes and other such book keeping is something I don't mind doing.  But I do always feel better when I know it's been taken care of.
I do math problems based on miles, time, fuel consumption and other weird things like that on long trips to help pass the time, and I do math logic problems and Sudoku puzzles to relax.

Super! Can you come count my chooks? I can't keep up, the numbers keep changing. Oh, and when you're done, divide the number in half before I tell DH.

I didn't see the northern lights. Last time I checked it was so cloudy so I went to bed. Lol I guess I will have to go to Alaska :/ Was anyone able to see them ?

Let's see, I county 200. Blarney said divide in half, so that means 200/4 = only 10 chickens! Sheesh, you need more Blarney. Getting kind of low.
