Yep, have 1 at Mt Hope the weekend after that that's about 3 hours closer. Talked to a friend tonight who may take every bird I have for sale over 5 weeks old. Have to get him a head count & a price in the morning. If anyone wants babies LET ME KNOW NOW so I can leave them out of the count!!! I'll be meeting with Rey probably the weekend of the 11/12th to get my geese & can deliver any others along the way then.

this looks very much like the one I just built, I highly recommend some poultry netting across the top, I picked up a roll at Lowes for $13 7 foot by 100 foot. Very lightweight, I think they call it, 'wildlife netting'

I'll check into that too. I need to cover my grow-out pen. It's open-topped at the moment.

Can someone explain how the egg swaps work? I currently don't have eggs to swap but will a little later. You claim what some one is offering and then offer what you have, to everyone? And how does a swap with paypal work? Any help would be great. Thanks

Very nice new girls! I'd be willing to bet the lighter one is the Silkie... looks alot like the color of Gracie's eggs.

I was going to go with blue or red & it will be on the hill above the coops completely shaded by trees most of the day.

Now if you have guinea eggs or keets for sale or trade that would be another story.

Guinea started laying last week,,, first round in the bator, second round to go into bator #2 early next week after the BCM's hatch out,,, only getting about 4 a day so far

LOL!!! I have heard of using food coloring, but never lipstick. hahahaha. If some one saw me doing that, i would be sent to the looney bin!
