Oh! What color Cochins? We may have to chat, lol!It is very dangerous. I went from having 1 breed, because that's all I wanted I was telling myself that (Ameraucanas). To now having Blue Andalusians, Silver Laced Wyandottes, LF Cochins, Marans, Naked Necks, Sumatras, Orpingtons, and finally Bantam Cochins. I got all of these in the last 3 months, oh I forgot the Black Australorps!!! Most of them are still chicks. I am loving chicken math! I was always really good at math in school!!!!!

I have 2 dozen serama eggs and 19 silkie eggs to set tomorrow and the polish that are on day 6 now. And then 2 dozen more silkie eggs coming soon. Gotta get to selling some of these babies, lol!
good Morning PA!!
Gardenin: you've got to have at least a pip by now, no?....
Missy: You deliver? How kind. You would be proud of me,I finally fired the gun. I'm such a baby -sited the coke can at least three times and pulled back again before finally pulling the trigger. Then walked away thinking, yup, I'm done with that. I can clean up some puppy pee for a while, how hard can it be? LGD is apparently the way to go for me.
DH let chooks out this morning by accident, I hope there are some left when I get home.
Is there any place in north east pa to buy bulk chicken feed?
depends on where in NEPA you are... there are several Tractor supply stores near me that sell it in 50lb bags... also a livestock auction is a good place to go.... it just depends on where you are, i am in nepa in the tunkhannock area, which is north of scranton/wilkes- barre area! What would be a fair price for my 7 week old bantam mixes? I'm considering selling them but not sure what to ask. I have 4 & 4 but my DH wants to keep one of the pullets.
