Hey everyone! I haven't been on here in forever so I'm not going to read through all the 1000+ posts... so how is everyone?
We have been so super busy.... but the main things are that a fox got into my chickens -_- and I GRADUATED!!! :D

We had a spare kid for a week & a half & now down to just 1 kid for almost a week. JJ's 16 yr old daughter was visiting. When he took her home today he dropped my daughter at my mom's until next weekend so we only have my son until then. He was a bit mad until he found out he gets his turn at grandma's while mommy goes to the swap meet the 13-15th. My daughter gets stuck home with JJ to help with chores this time since she got to go to the last swap with me.

Yes, that's good news! If you still have symptoms, though, you might want to check with a different Dr. The ELISA test they give as the first step is notorious for giving false negatives, depending on the stage the illness is in at the time of testing.
 
My first chick hatched this morning! I'm so happy the kids got to see it before they went to school. It was one of my eBay eggs. A serama Cochin mix. I think I want to hatch another batch of eggs in the next week or so. Anyone around the Pittsburgh area have fertile frizzles, polish, black copper marans or Easter Egger eggs they are willing to sell?

check with a poster called dblea or with silkiesensation, either of them may have eggs and I know dblea is around pittsburgh, SS is just a bit south west of there.
