I know that feeling. I don't even try to run. I would end up right on my butt. My knee gives out on me, especially on uneven ground. I prefer being wet to being wet, muddy & injured.

We eat fries both ways around here, plus with chili on them...LOL

As for the cats, if firearms aren't a possibility there's always they way we get rid of coons & rats around here. Fill a trash can with water & drop the trap in & walk away until it stops bubbling.

Sorry my 2 cents as a cat lover.. realizing this is an open forum, you could capture them and contact stray cat blues! they will take them for you! Or at least find a better option..

It's too bad your flowers aren't in yet, it's been a good week I believe since I watered my garden!

Yeah this rain is great for the plants! Ours are loving it! They are soooo green and fulling in nicely!!! Have peppers all ready, tomatoes!! YUM!!!

Hello all------I just got back from visiting "stakes" coop . He has some very beautiful looking chickens! Pictures do not do these chickens justice , their colors are much more beautiful in real life.

They are so friendly too! Some lucky hens have such a large amount of yard to run around in and eat etc.................

Thanks again for showing me your chickens and coop etc.

I am surprised how these big hens like to stay huddled together in smaller spaces too................

We only have an acre but it was all trimming, cutting, clearing etc - total PIA. We are looking to buy it. 3 bedrooms, 6 car garage, basement the size of the house above, 1 acre of land and they are asking $60K for it.

We have an acre, 3 bed, 3, car garage, not very big, paid more that 60k for it!! Get that girl!!! Next place we get needs to be over 4 so we can get more animals, these goats look interesting! maybe a pig and a turkey!

I like the Idea of raising my own food!!

Hmmm...gardens. I have green beans, roughly 2+ dz tomato plants, bell peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, garlic, yellow onions, white onions, cabbage, 5 different leaf lettuce, asparagus, basil and hmmmm pumpkins.

Is growing asparagus hard? Want to try it but don't want to wait 2 years to harvest Are onions easy to grow? Considering onions and potatoes for next year.
