Waaahhh!!! I think I'm going to have to part with one of my Brown Leghorn Roos....his brother seems to be picking on him. Last night was the 3rd night in a row that he didn't go in the coop at night, and of course, he's a wily little bugger and I can't find him!

I am interested! I'm lower south central PA area if you need a good home for him!

I am reducing my silkies and trying to figure out which breeds work best for us (with 4 young children). Trial and error here, for sure!!

Aw shucks! Thanks guys!!! They are "my" breed. I won't have a "mean" breeder. They are either sweet (or at least tolerant!) or they are dead. Which is what I am debating on this blue male. I've never seen a Langshan so flighty. It is my fault, I wasn't there when he was growing up...so, he grew up WILD. Such great type though.

Anything yet Ms. mama?! I'm on pins and needles for you!!!!!!

I'm SO done with hatching as well. In my case though, it is the Langshan mothers that are not done with me. BUT, I get to have fun hatching babies for mama...and then make her take them back! Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!

we have bees... but no honey! Honey the second year I'm told. Otherwise, I would definitely have your back!

MsLadyHawks eggies are of the Bantam Wyndotte persuasion. The eggs are so teeny tiny (smaller than my Banty Cochins) we considered using the quail rails, and probably could have! Except I had to go and add some of my own and as some are Jumbo Leghorn eggs, quail rails just weren't going to cut it for everyone.
