I'm kinda just throwing this out there.....

I realize it's like walking into AA and asking if anyone ever walked into a bar and wanted to own their own bar.....

So anyway....Has anyone ever just wanted a cornucopia of animals and figured on justifying it as having your own petting zoo.....just for your family and friends....or just wanted to get drunk with a llama.....

I have been eyeing animals up....alpacas for sale.....dwarf nigerian goats....emu.....and a lot of really cool birds! .......a donkey....a potbelly pig named wilbur.............

So has anyone ever felt like this?

Me! People used to say I had a zoo before I got chickens, guineas and turkeys. I have 2 rottweiler mixes, a cat, a goldfish pond, a koi pond, a few fishtanks, 3 leopard geckos. I love animals.

CHAD! Where ya been hiding? And yes, I am on board with the 'need my own zoo' idea. Watching the animals gives me a sense of peace I can not find elsewhere. We finally got our pigs processed, how bout u?

Ok. So I check on my broody 'Popcorn' yesterday, and she's missing an egg. I can NOT find it anywhere. It was clearly marked with a 'P'. Is this weird or what? She was brooding in the main coop, I could not find even any remnants of an egg.

I've had broodys eat an egg. I assume because it wasn't any good. The rest seemed fine, just that one was missing.

SHAMEFULLY, I HANG MY HEAD AND SAY, YES. BASICALLY THAT IS WHAT I HAVE. MY ANIMALS ARE MAINLY FOR SNUGGLIN.

OH! OK, so I was out saying good morning to the new additions, and one gobbled, so a bunch gobbled. others just sat there. From what I can see, I have 6 boys and 5 girls. I found a home for 1 tom and 2 girls, and I would like to keep 1 tom and 3 girls. So, if anyone would like to give a nice home to a Tom, please let me know. I would prefer to KEEP THEM ALIVE since I kinda went through ALL THIS to help keep them safe. Please let me know!!!. They are very sweet and tame. The guy must have been very nice to them as babies. Just keep in mind they are roamers.

You realize to most people what you just said sounds like it may be illegal in most states????

but that's ok.... we understand what you meant (although I'm still not sure about the 'getting drunk with a llama thing!)

and yep, have often wished there was a good way to be able to have even more animals but have them support their own feed bill!

It all depends on how old the lama is.....
