scovies are my favorite,,,they are just much more laid back to me,,,,they do pinch pretty hard though....I will be hatching some when the weather allows (eggs are still freezing on me)...will hatch both by incubator and a broody if I get one....by the way mine are all the white scoviesAre you looking to hatch them? I have been looking at ducks for some time and I like Muscovy ducks the most so far. What are your thoughts on them after owning them?
Quote: I am getting eager also..
yea, started with a pair last year, ended up keeping 4 others over winter,,, now have 6...my ratio is 2 to 4 and they all get along rather well......hoping to check fertility in a few weeks.Wing: Are those the heavier French whites that are bred for meat?
Okay------women don't generally like to broadcast their advancing age and all..................but in my situation I am thinking my iminent
50th birthday might provide me with some interesting leverage...............something I have never considered.
I tend to not need anything
not want a party etc
but now..............I have started discussions with my family about a COOP RAISING PARTY!
WAHOO
BBQ and friends and family---all building together.............cool right............
of course as my birthday is in feb-----the party will be planned for the spring............all the more time for us to invite people and suggest
materials that could be brought along as gifts for the extravaganza---------
I have to say the mere thought of this is sooooo exciting.....................
I feel like a kid planning for a great Christmas
isn't this weird?
a soon to 50yr old gal so excited about a coop raising party?
what the heck I am super psyched and will shamelessly harness this once in a lifetime chronological power for the first time ever!
