Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

It is true. We are nosy! At least I am...
Before they are "gone" if they are not exceptional layers, I will take the Hen :D. I have read that they eat more than normal breeds initially due to their fast growth, and then they normalize. Did you order them from GFF?

Regarding the bird reviews. I can't recall which one, but my daughter and I were remembering one yesterday... We were rolling. It was something like "beautiful to look at but killed itself in 30 min... And now my daughter calls me chicken murderer" (not exact quote).

That's a good point, I had forgotten that.the It does say not to run the humidity high. I did anyway and nothing bad happened but there was condensation in places there probably should not have been.

Does that seem crazy to you? "Don't run the humidity high"? I am working on dry hatching, which reminds me I need to reread that again anyway. But I know we increase at the end. Okay rcom is out and genesis. Besides another brinsea (wish they'd give me a discount that would make that worth it)... How about the air circ hovabator, before the genesis? ... Or 1602? Thanks guys.

I live about one mile from the PA border. Does that count? Haha! Thank you Fisherlady for inviting me to this thread. I'm in Ohio and hour from Pittsburgh.
I think this totally counts! I've driven into Ohio for chicken business far more than I've stayed in PA. I don't have any local chicken friends!
I'm 40 minutes from the border, but my cross point is above you - the Pymatuning Causeway into Andover. I'm about 2 hours north of Pittsburgh. Welcome!

SO SO happy that the weather has finally turned! I was FINALLY able to get the Seramas out into the yard for the first time. They had a blast, and so did my other little ones. I'm finally loving Spring. There's plenty of yard work to be done!

FINALLY...
Got a call for an interview, I have not been working since the second week of Jan, seems most companies want their workers young.. I gave up on TSC I was updating that one every two weeks and nothing, by every time I went in there I seen a new young blonde girl working. I even set my stuff on the counterss and walked out with one of them, she was more interested in her friends at the door...
Never thought it would be so hard to find a minimum wage part time job....
I can not make a yearly job out of the farm, just can not do much with snow on the ground.

You aren't far from me. I'm north side of Cambridge, Ohio.
