Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

There is a huge brush fire going on around here. There is a lake/pond that the helicopter keeps getting water from. They have been fighting it all day since noonish. My girls aren't liking the helicopter noise. My son is home sick and we drove by where the helicopter was getting water, (right behind my house) which was cool to see. It looks like the helicopter is landing in my backyard. I hope they are able to get the fire out soon, so far 10 acres have burnt down. It was started from someone burning leaves.

What a great find I got at the auction today...what I though was an austrolorp or Brahma turned out to be a Langshan rooster, They were crammed in the crates couldnt tell till it was standing, gorgeous birds , there just starting to crow, I'll get some pictures ...

I have two bantam Langshans, originally from Msladyhawke I think, but Roseschicks gave them to me. They do have the most gorgeous sheen to them. Here are my girls, I love them. Flora & Fauna (Fauna has gone broody three times since I got her last June. ) These pics don't do their glossy feathers justice.

Was wondering if anyone in the York/Harrisburg/Lancaster Area might have a Dark Brahma Rooster that they are trying to get rid of?
