Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I totally forgot about it and thought it would be Friday. I went to grocery shop last night, and came back seeing the last group of trick-or-treaters passing my house. Now I have a huge bowl of chocolates setting on my counter top and no one going to eat them. :hit I did make my son to wear his costume and knock my door, so I could give him one candy. The poor boy is only 2 year old, luckily he 's too young to be disappointed. Hopefully, I'll remember next year. :oops:

Aww! You're right, at least he's still young. In Altoona, it's always the last Thursday of October. I'm sure someone will eat the chocolate. Good thing is not at my house. I'd be 20 lbs heavier really quick lol

I will never understand Pennsylvania. These rules for trick or treating ruin the fun. Not to mention, no mischief night makes it boring for the older teens.
Let them have fun with shaving cream, egging and toilet papering on the thirtieth, and everyone that wants to dress up and go, can go all day on the thirty-first!

We just moved last winter, so I was confused about the event time. My son went to Altoona Jaffa shrine with the grandparents on Wednesday, but he's so scared from the clown and cried all the time. We thought taking him to our neighborhood would be easier。Of course that didn't happen. I will make sure the boy get a chicken costume next year.

Wait PA has rules for trick or treating?

Certain neighborhoods may go on certain days, at certain times, and older kids/adults can't go. My siblings went all the way through college. I went until I moved to Pennsylvania.

Where I live, it's always the last Sunday in October in the afternoon. In Altoona, it's always the last Thursday in the evening. Anyone that's a teen or older gets looked down on for going and often criticized by people at doors. I just dress up because it's fun lol. I don't ever remember it being any other way.

Problem::
One of my hens is just standing in one spot with eyes closed. She is responsive but not herself. Why is she doing this? Other birds are molting not her though that I know of. What could be wrong?

I guess it depends on where you live. I always had some adults coming every year when we lived in State College. I had fun with everybody, adult or kid. Now we lived in middle of no where, so very few trick-or-treaters ever showed up.

I certainly don't like this "certain neighborhoods may go at certain times" rule.

What's with these girls?! I had two girls trying to sleep in nest boxes all the sudden tonight!

Edited to fix the auto correct mess. It makes sense now.
