im so excited! My broody managed to hatch out a chick! Yay!! These eggs were supposed to hatch on Wednesday and nothing was happening, even checked last night and was on the search for chicks for her. But low and behold...

Congrats! Mama looks very happy!

I'm so mad at myself! Working on my sister's coop today, I had notes on my plan to run the peak of the roof the short way instead of the long way so that the overhang would protect the screened windows from weather. I put the ting on the long way anyway! So now there is no overhang over the windows. And I didn't realize why things weren't working out they way they should until we were done for the night and was just too late to do anything about it.

Well, Looks pretty good to me...

Stake, I think you've got to get your nucs ordered by January or so, have you checked out chester county bee keepers associations? We got our bees from a guy in Smyrna, DE. I can give you his contact info if you'd like.
