Muscovies are great at eating anyway. I think the Pekins are better.
It isn't enabling, it is helping. And yes. Broodies need eggs.
Duckling is more help than one would believe. She is making my life better than I could ever make her's.
You need ducks.
My eyes went right to the booster seat.
I'm sure you made the peaches perfect. You did say you wanted light syrup.
I did that on purpose...
, not..hahaha here's your sign...
I did want light syrup...hoping it is okay and not too over powering. we put a jar in the fridge, tomorrow we will eat'em...
we checked on the tree and there are some we have to pick tomorrow, not sure how many at this point, DH will handle that while I snap beans, wash them & get everything together to make bean salad, then I will can that up on Friday. I like to let it sit (fridge) over night to make sure everything absorbs well. If he picks enough peaches tomorrow morning, i will be canning those as well...this is really a super busy time of year, well....to be honest, this craziness started in june with the strawberries and it hasn't stopped.
We are now starting to get into the tomatoes....they are a little easier. I will put them in the freezer till I am ready to sauce/can them.....Same with the blackberries, they are coming on now too, i just put those in bags, freeze till i have the time to can. I'll be making pie filling with them this year, i did jam last year, still have jars of that.
Have blueberries and strawberries to make into filling also....it will be nice to jar them up in the fall/winter, when the house needs a little heat
...
**Anne- It's all in good love...
,enabling is how we all show each other that we truly care...they really, really care...especially MC, cause now she is throwing ducks at me
I would like a few more chickens, maybe next spring, and NO, I don't count meat birds..still trying to teach "chicken math" to DH...you know his mind isn't as 'pliable' as mine...that is probably and good thing. Have to keep our checks and balances, right?....right?
