That's a great idea! I'm not even thinking gardens for next year yet, I've been so busy working and setting up my new coop.
So tonight, I sat out in the rain to make sure the coop door closed in time. Of course it did! Now the trick will be to get them to use the chicken ramp and entrance. I will leave one of the double doors open tomorrow. Hopefully I will be awake and showered tomorrow before the door opens, so I can watch the confusion.![]()

I pulled her in from the flock yesterday morning when I noticed that she was very lethargic. She had food in her crop but was nothing but skin and bones under the feathers. I'm guessing she had a blocked crop. I did what I could but it was too little too late
