My DIL also goes to Lebanon Valley Auction but I don't think that is on a weekend.

The auction we were discussing is in Schuylkill Haven but it is run by Gilbertsville Auction. I have heard for years ( I am no spring chicken) about a small animal auction in Gilbertsville but I have had no reason to go there. it's a 45 minute trip at least for us. I am close to Schuylkill Haven and wander thru that market for veggies and fleas on a Sunday morning, but have never been to the Saturday animal auction. I'm not sure when the Gilbertsville small animal auction is held. I have also heard of small animals auctioned at Lebanon Fairgrounds but have never been there.
We are very close to the Leesport Market and Auction. Occasionally they have a crate of fowl there but it is rare. They are mostly cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.

I will be driving down from Central NY to Philly the end of August. I'm looking for Silkies, show prospects of course

. Chicks or even adults.

If anyone lives near or just off, not too far, from the drive down from the Binghamtom area that I could stop at on the way home, and has some for sale, please email me.

I would offer some of my birds for trade, but I don't think I could keep them in the hotel overnight....

Unless, you were close enough that I could drop off on the way down, and pick up on the way back?

Would love to have a couple Maran hens, but hubby said no more birds this year and because I will go to surgery, I would need him to drive me:/. The birds on your blog look so great

Does anyone in South Central PA have Golden Laced Wyandottes that might have a pullet for sale. Sorry to post here, but I have not posted enough to put in the wanted to buy section. I am kind of desperate. Thanks, Wendy

South of York here! No birds of my own... living vicariously through my parent's flock. Looking for Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Black Coopper Marans and a few easter eggers...
