Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Ummmm, feeling dumb here. What does the LF in "LF lavender ams" mean? I think I want. I am going to have to get myself a wish list going. Let's see, a LF lavender ams, a blue lace red wyandotte, a dark egg layer of some sort. That should do for this year. I will probably let my broody hatch out whatever mutts get bred this spring/summer. Not that I want to, but will probably get rid of 3 of the older girls. They did great for 2 years. Maybe they can stay as mascots. It's not like we're starving or anything. But if they stay, I'm going to need to step up the egg sales.

Congrats! What a beauty!
Sweet! Do you sell your turkeys?
Which means she'll call you tomorrow Aurora. :duc
Okay, but I still expect a connection for banty Cochins in the future. :p
Large Fowl! Final,y something I know!

Yep, I sell them. I keep a few each year to raise out as thanksgiving or to replace certain ones but that's it. Of the 8 that hatched last night, 4 have already gone to their new home lol.

I expect a call before long. Fisherlady's flock is crazy when it comes to broodies!

@dheltzel @Auroradream26. Here are pics from tonight, since I was away until 20 minutes ago, the humidity has dropped to 15%. Tomorrow is lockdown. Suggestions? Am the eggs doomed to fail?

Edited because I forgot to add photos the first time...

Air cells look fine to me :) just get your humidity up tomorrow to hatching level (65%-ish). You should be fine.

I'm so used to seeing huge pile of hatching eggs. This incubator looks too empty.

But the eggs look nice. You should have some fluffy babies soon.

133 chicks out of the hatchers this morning!
Includes 16 Silver Ameraucanas. I need to get pics of these, they are the cutest little things.

Congratulations ! It's a year ago when I got my girls from you. I really want some again! But even if we buy a new house, sadly, my schedule would be too crazy to keep chickens this year. I think I have to wait for next year when I don't need to travel that much.

Okay does anyone know what game bird conditioner is? I'm trying to get off the layer and go to an all flock? food with calcium on the side. I tried to explain that to the guys at feed store but not sure if they understood. Will this work? And loving the FF! So far everyone likes it. Trying to do chicks too but they eat too fast lol.

I think it's a feed very high in protein, similar to 'feather fixer'.

Are you going to wether your bucklings? Banding is quite easy, I wish you were closer, I've got bands and banders.

Thanks! There was 14 more eggs in there originally from Fisherlady, but they arrived too late due a postal mishap, and none were viable. My four eggs were in there in case I only had one or two hatch from her bunch.

Thanks! Will do! So excited to see what happens! :pop

Set 426 eggs tonight. Buying another cabinet incubator tomorrow. Might be getting out of control.
Decided I didn't *need* more chicks, so skipping the deal on cochins for now.

Thank Gawd! cause I was on board (for real this time), and the last thing I need is another coop. I have a soft spot for Bantam Cochin chicks, they look like they're wearing footy pajamas

And....more info on the Cabinet please...is it that ginormous one that's been on Craig's list? Or are you getting another Dickey? I was on the fence about committing to a Dickey and I have a friend who is going to lend me a Sportsman, just so I can see if a cabinet is for me. I wonder if we could save on shipping if we got Dickeys at the same time?
