I'm so sorry. I keep telling myself if I give them a comfortable happy little life I can feel better when they pass. And yours seem to have a great home!

So my EEs showed up. She sent an extra so 7 of them and all survived and are doing great right now. The are so pretty. I'll post pics later. My duck/chick order from Ideal is missing. They told me they had it but were wrong. The package hasn't been scanned since it arrived at hub in Texas wed morning at 530am. Nothing since then. It could still be sitting there for all I know. Of course I have to work from 7am till probably 1am tomorrow so its out of my hands. Hubby is on call and talked to people at the Erie hub so if it shows up tomorrow after my post office is closed he can go get them still. At least I wont be the one to open the box. Ugh.

a friend of mine Carl Thompson in Blairsville , Pennsylvania has a nice young flock of eight Hatchery cuckoo Marans pullets he wants to get sell because he's moving into another breed. They are 10 month old, just started to lay. if you're looking for a nice little flock of Cuckoo Marans pullets, give Carl a call. His phone number is 724 459-0447 Carl doesn't have the internet. you'll probably get a message. leave a message and have him call you back. he's a real nice old-time farmer with a nice setup . Carl told me he's never had sickness on his place . I got some eggs from Carl this week and bought a nice cabinet incubator from him. He has some other cabinet incubators for sale if anybody is looking for one.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't need either, but I know some others on here have been looking. Congrats on the cabinet incubator.

A little worried about the last one. She doesn't want to open her eyes much but I'm doing everything I'm supposed to so hopefully she'll be okay. My first non large hatchery chicks and I'm super happy with them. I can't wait till I've been doing this long enough to tell colors. Any opinions on what I got?
