Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Neighbors like to spy, and confronted me about sleeping out with Duckling.
“Wasn’t you scared?!”
“Of what?”
“There’s wild animals!”
Yes, we have an occasional bear. We also have the occasional deer, fox etc. But I seriously can’t say even the raccoons (oh, girl watch what you say! Don’t jinx it!) visit often.

No, not really. We did it in the tent a few years ago (before the tent got ruined) and ended up coming in at night because it was uncomfortable lol. Many times over the summer, we'll have very late evenings outside and the kids will bring out blankets and sleep on the trampoline.

The first night I froze, and wondered when the ground got so hard. The second night I moved the tent close to the house (softer ground, and several other benefits), used my yoga mat, and wore warm clothes. Of course I had Duckling snug as a bug.
