Okay everybody, this is why you need to close your patio umbrella before a storm comes. Doh! Had to clean up ever little shard so that the chickens don’t eat it, and so that we can walk on the deck.

@dheltzel Does this look like a Kraeinkopp to you? This is kn of the chicks that you gave me for my broody hen. Sorry for the poor pics, she’s a speedy one!

Also, haven’t heard back from the gentleman with the Branbanters, and his email didn’t work. Do you have any other contacts for him?

Wow, that storm really did a number to your table! I can only imagine the painstaking work of cleaning that up :/

Wow! I would have thought they would use shatterproof/safety glass on tabletops! Sorry to see the damage.
Glad it was isolated though.
Go check the home improvement stores for veneered plywood to create a new top... with some routered edges and a good varnish job it would make a good replacement.

She is a Norwegian Jaerhon. Off white eggs a bit on the small side, but a very pretty pullet. I have found the roos tend to be more "people aggressive" than I like, so I set all of mine free to fend for themselves on the farm and they are doing pretty well. but I won't be hatching any in the future.

I have not been on for a couple days. I am dealing with a very sick goat. We have 9 chicks hatch over the weekend. 2 died trying to hatch. So 7 are alive and doing good.

I was about ready to unplug the incubator this morning. But found one hatching. And another one that died trying to hatch. So I'm leaving it on for another day.

Sorry to hear they are having trouble hatching.... have you had temperature or humidity problems?
